Project: George Washington University (GWU) Master Facilities Plan

Location: Washington, DC

Client: Cooper Robertson & Partners

Kimley-Horn of DC, as part of a team, is working with George Washington University to update their facilities master plan. The university is seeking a re-visioning and alignment of its two campuses with the strategic plan. Kimley-Horn of DC prepared an assessment of the existing transportation network, identified gaps and opportunities, and developed concept recommendations for multimodal improvements that supported planned campus changes. Kimley-Horn of DC supported the development of a streetscape master plan to program safe and accessible spaces for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists.
